Today a limited delegation (Covid19 restrictions obliging) of Belgian and Congolese victims, together with a first responder, of the Brussels and Bamako terrorist attacks have deposed a wreath of flowers at the Brussels national memorial for Victims of Terrorism.
The diversity of the victims who were present today, in both nationalities, places of terrorist attacks and type of victims, represent beautifully the existing solidarity between all victims of terrrorism worldwide.
The deposed wreath of flowers has one red rose; symbolising all our loved ones that have been assassinated by terrorism.
The remaining roses of the wreath are white; symbolising the hope, strength and faith of the survivors and all citizens of our society.
21 August is the International Day of Remembrance of and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, proclaimed by the United Nations
We do not forget #VictimsofTerrorism.
