Writing & Life
Experience a transformative two-day workshop where we blend creative writing sessions with moments dedicated to relaxation and bodily expression.
While trauma may be the underlying factor in many of our challenges, our focus is not on the traumatic experiences themselves. Instead, we provide gentle and stimulating prompts aimed at unlocking the imagination, rekindling the joy of creation, and reconnecting with the timeless heritage of poetry and literature.
Sharing and trust are paramount in this journey. We ensure a safe and welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable and supported.
Amélie Thonet has been running workshops on the body in movement in a day centre for almost ten years. She is a psychologist and novelist.
François Emmanuel is a writer (poetry, theatre, novels) who occasionally runs writing workshops.
Experience the transformative benefits of Powerplate, an advanced fitness technology that harnesses vibrations to enhance muscle strength, flexibility, and circulation. Regardless of your fitness level or exercise routine, you can reawaken your body’s vitality, boosting your energy flow and overall well-being.
Each session is tailored to your unique requirements, ensuring a personalised fitness journey. This is your chance to (re)discover your body's potential in an intimate setting, with sessions designed for just two participants.
In a serene, verdant setting, we invite you to take a break and connect with nature. Meet the horses and enjoy a moment of well-being to recharge your batteries, relieve tension, slow down, and take time for yourself, welcoming whatever comes your way.
This workshop offers a variety of approaches designed to provide you with a practical toolbox for your everyday life.
Depending on your comfort level with the horses, interactions will take place either in a shared space with the horse freely moving or nearby, all under our careful supervision. All activities are conducted on the ground, and no prior experience with horses is required.
We welcome you to join us for a leisurely stroll through the great outdoors, exploring less-traveled paths without the need to fret over the route, all in a welcoming atmosphere. Engaging in movement amidst nature aids in reconnecting with oneself and fellow participants, offering a wellspring of tranquility and equilibrium, while also unveiling fresh insights and perspectives.
We tailor the distance and style of each walk to accommodate the group's preferences and requirements. Following each excursion, we invite you to unwind and recharge with a soothing cup of tea paired with delectable homemade pastries, providing a perfect conclusion to your outdoor adventure.
Convinced of the individual and collective benefits of first aid training, we offer a workshop consisting essentially of a description of the first aid chain, with a pragmatic, objective, and calm approach to the role of first responders; first-aid training adapted to the participants and the variety of conditions they may encounter; a discussion of both the "technical" (hard skills) and "human" (soft skills) aspects of medical emergencies; and an open discussion forum to address any questions or past experiences from a first-aid perspective.
Vincent Laforge initially trained as an anesthetist-resuscitator and now practices in the field of acute medicine. Throughout his career, he has worked in various hospital settings, beginning in an operating theater and later transitioning to a multi-purpose intensive care unit. Dr. Laforge has consistently pursued opportunities to enhance his training and diversify the environments in which he practices medicine.
In addition to his hospital-based roles, he has applied his expertise to a range of out-of-hospital experiences, including Emergency Medical Services (EMS) activities, helicopter-borne operations, and international airborne medical evacuations.
How do you find joy in theatre? Through improvisation and playful exercises we discover the power of 'pretending'. Pretending makes anything possible: there are no mistakes, every idea is an addition to what already exists. It gives you the opportunity to be someone else or to do something that isn't possible in everyday life.
We're mainly going to experiment and have fun, we're not working with a text and the aim is not to prepare for a show. Previous experience of theatre is not necessary.
Come and discover with us the art of "pretending".
We're going to appeal to your sense of observation, without having to get down to the business of taking and developing photographs. First, we'll "look at the light", analyzing the values between light and shadow, through a window cut out of a sheet of paper. We'll reproduce what we see and feel in our own way. Beyond the artistic look and the pure technique of photography, we'll learn to sharpen our eye for the elements outside, having fun with shadows and highlights.
